Padel is perfect for beginners because the court, rules, and ball are easy to learn. You quickly start with exciting rallies, use the walls for cool plays, and often play doubles – perfect for dashing around and having fun together. With each training session, you quickly notice progress in reaction, angle perception, and team strategy. Come by, learn the basics, enjoy the game, and stick with it – the fun grows with you.

The appeal of padel tennis.

You enter the court. The walls serve as additional playing surfaces, and the racket is your tool. With each shot, you improve your timing, reaction speed, and ball control. Padel combines technique, tactics, and agility: positioning, angle play, and early anticipation of the ball. After just a few rallies, you notice improvements in precision and consistency.

Answers to possible questions:

Footwear: non-slip padel/indoor shoes with good lateral support, depending on the surface, they should be suitable for artificial grass or hard courts.

Clothing: breathable, comfortable,

You may wear indoor shoes or regular sneakers. Proper sports clothing is completely sufficient. This is just a suggestion. But please always remember, padel tennis is also a sport for gentlemen and ladies.

The duration of a padel match depends on the format:

  • Doubles (2 vs 2) or singles: Standard game to 4 points, winning with 4:0, 4:1, 4:2, or 4:3; often up to 6 points or 8 points depending on tournament/club rules.
  • Typical recreational rounds last about 15–30 minutes per game.
  • In tournaments, matches can last longer, depending on the set structure (e.g., best-of-3 sets) and pace of play.
  • Roughly conservative: 15–25 minutes per game in regular recreational play.

Of course, padel tennis is most fun in nice weather.

For outdoor padel, the following weather is suitable:

  • Dry, mild to warm weather: Ideal for playing well.
  • Temperatures around 15–25°C (slightly cool evenings, etc.) are pleasant.
  • Sunscreen is advisable: sunscreen, headwear, and possibly shade.
  • Wind: Light wind is okay, strong wind can affect the course of the game.
